“Mindanao” will be screened at the 24th Busan International Film Festival, which will run from October 3-12, 2019 in Haeundae-gu, Busan, South Korea.  Under the icons sections, a showcase of the latest films of today’s iconic filmmakers from around the world. Icons line-up this year include films of Brillante Mendoza, Lav Diaz, Werner Herzog, Bruno Dumont, Xavier Dolan, Bong Joon-ho, Ken Loach, Marco Bellocchio, Kurosawa Kiyoshi, Pedro Costa, Olivier Assayas, Bertrand Bonello. The non competing section is a new category in the festival.
